Ecclesiastes 1:3
3What advantage does man have in all his work
Which he does under the sun?
Which he does under the sun?
What is the point of work? We have jobs we go to. Yes, we make money to put food on the table, but is that all there is to it? It gives us purpose perhaps? Does it really? Is our work that which defines us? If we can survive without working, what is the point of working? What do we really gain by working?
Feel free to comment and discuss. I would like Ecclesiastes to be a more interactive study.

I believe Ecclesiastes is one of the most grounded books of the bible. It speaks alot to the nature and logic of man when he thinks he has life figured out or he is truly the master of his own destiny. It speaks to the boundary of man when he refuses to look further then his eyes will allow him.
