Passage of the Day - February 10, 2013

I Peter 3:7

You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.

Any decision that I make will be for the whole family.  Therefore, I must know not only my wife’s thoughts on the matter, but also the basis for those thoughts.  My wife and I just had a great conversation regarding this decision that shed some light on why her thoughts and feelings are what they are.  In any decision, it is essential we understand our spouses.  The decisions we can make for the best interest of the family can have disastrous results if we don’t know our spouse’s heart and mind on the matter.
