Passage of the Day - March 29, 2011

Zechariah 10:5-6

5"They will be as mighty men,
Treading down the enemy in the mire of the streets in battle;
And they will fight, for the LORD will be with them;
And the riders on horses will be put to shame.
6"I will strengthen the house of Judah,
And I will save the house of Joseph,
And I will bring them back,
Because I have had compassion on them;
And they will be as though I had not rejected them,
For I am the LORD their God and I will answer them.

The problem with many of us Christians is that we don't think God will use us because of how much we have royally screwed up. We feel that the choices we have made in the past will forever bar us from significantly serving our Lord. We feel so distant from God to the point where we doubt His love. The thing is...



Yes, that's not true.  The fact is God will only use sinners.  Desperately wicked sinners.  Well there is that ONE exception.  Do not allow Satan to deceive you into thinking you are in some sort of trap.  You ain't.  You are one of the captives that has been set free.  God can and will use you for great and mighty things as long as you trust Him.  Notice I said great and mighty not great and flashy.
