Zechariah 10:4
4"From them will come the cornerstone,
From them the tent peg,
From them the bow of battle,
From them every ruler, all of them together.
The strong foundation, the linchpin of the fortress, the might to ward off enemies, and the ability to rule. Sound like a great place to feel safe? The fulfillment of God's promises to Israel will be found in a leader like this. Of course, this leader has a name. His name is Jesus Christ the Lamb of God. What Jesus will do in His return to Earth He can do in our hearts right now. He is our cornerstone. He is what holds us up. His Word fights off the enemy. His commandments are righteous and true and provide the groundwork for any government or legislative body to rule by and for us to run our families and businesses in addition to our own lives.
