II Corinthians 5:7

for we walk by faith, not by sight

It has been a little over a month since my last Passage of the Day.  I apologize for the delay, but I was getting way way way ahead of myself, and I apologize for that as well.  As we know from Scripture, we are to walk by faith, one step at a time.  I veered off course and acted like the little kid saying “Daddy!  Daddy!  Look over there!  I want to go over there!”  God eventually said “NO!”  What did happen over the course of the past month is that I found out I’m definitely not moving where I thought I was.  I also made the final decision to change churches and start attending Light of Christ Anglican Church in Kenosha, WI.  God wanted me to make the biblical step of faith He was calling our family to, not the unbiblical leap of faith He wasn’t.  This has been a lesson learned about my propensity to make mountains out of molehills and suffer paralysis by analysis.  I want to live my life the way God wants and that is walking with Him one step at a time.
